I’m busy planning school visits and bookstore appearances for winter and spring. Check back here for details.

Two years ago, I traveled thousands of miles for school visits, appearances and research for my upcoming novel Laura Ingalls is Ruining My Life (fall, 2017).

In September, author Stephanie Bodeen (Shipwreck Island series) and I launched our tour “Adventures From the Middle.” We traveled for school visits and bookstore appearances to Milwaukee, Oconomowac, Rice Lake, and Madison – all in Wisconsin – and the Minnesota cities of St. Paul, Northfield, and Mankato, where we got to appear on KMSU radio’s “Minnesota Morning” with the fabulous Karen Wright.

I also did school visits in my hometown of Rivers Falls, Wisc., plus libraries in Spring Valley and Hudson, and a book club in Eden Prairie.

Finally, I did a whirlwind tour of Laura Ingalls sites for research. Here are a few of the pictures.
